rhomb
Slanted equal quadrilateral
A rhomb is a parallelogram with four equal sides—what geometry classes usually call a rhombus.
The angles need not be right angles; when they are, you have a square.
The tiles were arranged in a rhomb pattern.
The word appears more often in technical or older texts, with rhombus now dominant in everyday use.
