rasterizes
Converts to pixels
Rasterizes means converts vector graphics or other image data into a grid of pixels.
Vector images use mathematical formulas to define shapes; rasterizing translates them into the dot-by-dot format that screens and printers actually render.
The software rasterizes the logo at 300 dpi for print.
The process is irreversible—once rasterized, smooth curves become fixed pixels.
