radio frequencies
Wireless transmission channels
Radio frequencies are the portion of the electromagnetic spectrum used for wireless communication, ranging from about 3 kilohertz to 300 gigahertz.
Different bands within this range are allocated for specific purposes: AM and FM radio broadcasting, television signals, cellular networks, Wi-Fi, satellite communication, and emergency services.
Governments regulate these frequencies to prevent interference between competing signals.
The new tower will broadcast on multiple radio frequencies.
