FM stations
Dial-tuned music sources
FM stations are radio broadcasters that transmit on the frequency modulation band, typically between 88 and 108 megahertz.
FM offers higher fidelity than AM radio, making it the standard for music programming: I only listen to FM stations in the car.
The term distinguishes these from AM stations and newer digital or internet radio.
