quadrocopter
Hovering four-propeller craft
A quadrocopter is an aircraft lifted and propelled by four rotors, typically arranged at the corners of a square frame.
The term is synonymous with quadcopter and largely interchangeable with drone in casual use, though drones may have other configurations.
Quadrocopters range from palm-sized toys to commercial vehicles: The quadrocopter hovered over the wedding party for aerial shots.
