Sweat duct blockage
Prickly heat is a skin rash caused by blocked sweat glands, common in hot, humid conditions.
The name describes the sensation—tiny red bumps that sting or prickle, especially where skin rubs together or clothing traps moisture.
Also called heat rash or miliaria.
