practise

Hone through repetition

Practise is the British spelling of the verb meaning to do something repeatedly to improve skill, or to engage regularly in an activity: She practises piano for two hours daily, He practises law in Manchester.

In British usage, practice with a C is the noun, while practise with an S is the verb—a distinction American English doesn't maintain, using practice for both.
