photoflood
Bright photography light
A photoflood is a high-powered incandescent lamp designed for photography and video work, producing intense, continuous light.
Unlike flash units, photofloods stay on constantly, allowing photographers to see exactly how light falls on a subject: Set up two photofloods on either side of the backdrop.
They run hot and burn out relatively quickly.
