Small swinging door
A pet flap is a small hinged door installed in a larger door or wall, allowing cats or dogs to enter and exit freely without human assistance.
The flap swings both ways and may be sized for the animal: We installed a pet flap so the cat could come and go.
Also called a cat flap or dog door.
