parrotlet
Tiny tropical bird
A parrotlet is a very small parrot, typically four to five inches long, native to Central and South America.
Despite their size, parrotlets have bold personalities and can learn to mimic speech.
They're popular as pets because they require less space than larger parrots: Our parrotlet thinks he's an eagle.
