orienter
One who positions
An orienter is someone who orients—providing direction, guidance, or positioning.
The term appears most often in educational or organizational contexts for a person who helps newcomers get their bearings: The camp orienter showed us around the facilities.
In orienteering, an orienter is a participant in the navigation sport.
