organismal
Relating to creatures
Organismal means relating to or characteristic of a living organism as a whole, rather than its individual parts or molecular components.
The term appears in biology when discussing properties that emerge at the level of the complete organism: organismal development, organismal physiology.
It contrasts with cellular or molecular perspectives: The study shifted from molecular mechanisms to organismal behavior.
