officered
Had commanders assigned
Officered describes something that has officers assigned to it, or specifies how it is staffed with officers.
A ship may be well officered or poorly officered.
The term appears most often in military and naval contexts: The regiment was officered entirely by aristocrats.
Less commonly, to officer means to command or supply with officers.
