neutralists
Those avoiding sides
Neutralists are those who advocate or practice neutrality, especially in political or military conflicts.
The term often appears in discussions of Cold War foreign policy, where neutralist nations declined to align with either the Western or Soviet blocs.
The neutralists argued that taking sides would only escalate tensions.
