meridians
Acupuncture's energy channels
Meridians are imaginary lines running from pole to pole on a globe, used to measure longitude: The prime meridian passes through Greenwich, England.
In traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture, meridians are channels through which vital energy flows in the body.
The term suggests lines of connection or pathways, whether geographic or anatomical.
