feng shui
Chinese spatial harmony
Feng shui is a Chinese system of arranging spaces to promote harmony and positive energy flow.
The practice governs placement of furniture, buildings, and objects based on principles of balance and the movement of chi (life force): We rearranged the living room according to feng shui principles.
In casual use, feng shui describes any intuitive sense of spatial arrangement: The feng shui of this office is all wrong.
