moxibustion
Burning herb treatment
Moxibustion is a traditional Chinese medicine practice in which dried mugwort is burned on or near the skin at specific points on the body.
Practitioners believe the heat stimulates circulation and energy flow.
It's often used alongside acupuncture: The treatment combined needles with moxibustion.
