ley line
Mystical geographic alignment
A ley line is an imaginary straight line connecting ancient landmarks, monuments, or sacred sites across a landscape.
The concept emerged from early 20th-century British speculation that prehistoric peoples aligned their structures deliberately.
Though archaeologists reject the theory, ley lines persist in New Age and occult thinking as channels of mystical earth energy: The stone circle supposedly sits at the intersection of two ley lines.
