Competitive standing displays
Leaderboards are ranked lists showing top performers in games, competitions, or other scored activities.
Originally from arcade games displaying high scores, the term now applies to any public ranking system: She climbed the leaderboard after her winning streak, The sales team checks the leaderboard every Monday.
The singular leaderboard refers to one such ranking.
