kinesthesis

Sensing limb position

Kinesthesis is the sense that perceives body position and movement—the awareness of where your limbs are and how they're moving without looking at them.

It's what lets you touch your nose with your eyes closed or walk without watching your feet.

Also spelled kinesthesia.

The adjective is kinesthetic: kinesthetic learning, kinesthetic awareness.
