kimonos

Obi-belted garments

Kimonos is the plural of kimono, the traditional Japanese robe with wide sleeves and a wraparound front secured by a sash called an obi.

Outside Japan, kimono often refers loosely to any robe-style garment with similar flowing lines: She threw on one of her silk kimonos before answering the door.
