ischemic stroke
Clot stops blood
An ischemic stroke occurs when blood flow to part of the brain is blocked, typically by a clot, causing brain tissue to die from lack of oxygen.
This is the most common type of stroke, accounting for roughly 85% of cases.
Symptoms include sudden numbness, confusion, difficulty speaking, or paralysis on one side of the body: The ischemic stroke left him unable to move his right arm.
