interventions
Actions to change outcomes
Interventions is the plural of intervention—an act of stepping into a situation to alter its course.
Medical interventions are treatments or procedures: surgical interventions, early interventions for autism.
In addiction contexts, an intervention is a planned confrontation where family and friends urge someone to seek help: We're staging an intervention for my brother.
Military or political interventions involve one power acting in another's affairs.
