hyperstimulate
Push into overdrive
Hyperstimulate means to stimulate excessively or beyond normal levels.
The term appears most often in medical contexts, particularly fertility treatment, where ovaries may become hyperstimulated by hormone medications: The drugs caused her ovaries to hyperstimulate, producing too many eggs.
More broadly, anything can be hyperstimulated—economies, nervous systems, children given too much screen time.
