twitchy
Prone to flinching
Twitchy describes someone prone to small, jerky, involuntary movements—the fidgeting of nervousness or overstimulation.
By extension, it means jumpy or on edge: The whole team was twitchy before the announcement.
A twitchy trigger finger suggests someone too eager to shoot or act rashly.
Things can be twitchy too—an unstable connection, a glitchy cursor.
