hyperstimulation
Too much stimulation
Hyperstimulation is excessive stimulation that overwhelms a system's capacity to respond normally.
In medicine, it often refers to ovarian hyperstimulation from fertility drugs, causing the ovaries to swell painfully.
The term also describes sensory overload—when noise, lights, or information exceed what someone can process: The casino's hyperstimulation left her exhausted.
In economics, hyperstimulation means aggressive government spending or monetary policy that risks inflation.
