amped
Thrilled and ready
Amped means excited, energized, or pumped up: I'm so amped for the concert tonight.
The word comes from amplifier—to be amped is to have your energy turned up.
It can also describe being under the influence of stimulants, especially amphetamines, though the excited sense now dominates casual usage.
