A gorger is someone who eats greedily or excessively: The gorgers at the buffet left nothing for latecomers.
In Romani usage, gorger (also gadjo or gorgio) refers to a non-Romani person—an outsider to Traveller communities.
The eating sense comes from gorge; the ethnic term has separate origins.
