A gay-straight alliance is a student organization in schools that brings together LGBTQ+ students and their heterosexual allies to promote acceptance, provide support, and address issues like bullying and discrimination.
Often abbreviated GSA: The gay-straight alliance meets every Thursday after school.
Some groups now use the name "gender and sexuality alliance" to be more inclusive.
