front-end
What visitors see
Front-end refers to the part of something that faces users or comes first in a process.
In computing, front-end development builds what users see and interact with—websites, apps, interfaces—as opposed to back-end systems that handle data and logic.
In finance, front-end fees or loads are charges paid upfront rather than later.
A front-end loader has its bucket at the front of the vehicle.
