fire blankets
Flame-suffocating safety sheets
Fire blankets are sheets of fire-resistant material used to smother small fires or wrap around a person whose clothing has caught fire.
They work by cutting off the oxygen supply to flames.
Typically found in kitchens and laboratories, they're pulled from wall-mounted containers and draped over the fire source: Grab the fire blanket and cover the pan.
