festival DJ
Outdoor crowd energizer
A festival DJ is a DJ who performs at large outdoor music festivals, typically playing electronic dance music to crowds of thousands.
The term implies a certain scale and style—bigger drops, more theatrical mixing, sets designed for massive audiences rather than intimate club settings.
The festival DJ circuit takes artists across Europe every summer.
