Bass drop genre
EDM stands for electronic dance music—a broad category of genres produced primarily with electronic instruments, synthesizers, and digital software, designed for dancing in clubs or at festivals.
The term emerged in the 2010s as an American umbrella for styles like house, techno, dubstep, and trance.
The EDM scene exploded with massive festival tours.
