karaoke host
Microphone queue manager
A karaoke host is the person who runs a karaoke night at a bar, club, or private event.
They manage the song queue, announce singers, operate the equipment, and keep the energy up between performances.
A good host balances encouraging nervous first-timers with managing regulars who hog the microphone: The karaoke host called my name and I suddenly regretted signing up.
