club DJ
Nightlife music selector
A club DJ is a disc jockey who performs at nightclubs, selecting and mixing recorded music to keep people dancing.
Unlike radio DJs, club DJs read the crowd and blend tracks in real time, often using turntables or digital controllers: The club DJ kept the energy up until 3 a.m.
The role ranges from playing requests at local bars to headlining festivals.
