fairgrounds
Where rides gather
Fairgrounds are the outdoor grounds where a fair is held, typically featuring exhibition halls, arenas, and open spaces for rides, livestock shows, and vendor booths.
Most counties and states have permanent fairgrounds that host annual agricultural fairs and other events throughout the year: We parked near the fairgrounds and walked to the midway.
