facecam
Face-focused video feed
A facecam is a camera pointed at someone's face, typically showing a streamer or content creator in a small overlay window while they play video games or produce other content.
The term combines "face" and "webcam": She turned off her facecam during the horror game section.
Having a facecam lets viewers see reactions and expressions, which many consider essential for building audience connection.
