portrait mode
Taller than wide
Portrait mode is a camera setting or orientation where the frame is taller than it is wide, suited for photographing people or vertical subjects.
On smartphones, portrait mode also refers to a feature that blurs the background to simulate the shallow depth of field of professional photography: The portrait mode on my phone makes selfies look almost professional.
