beauty mode
Digital skin smoothing
Beauty mode is a camera setting on smartphones and apps that automatically smooths skin, enlarges eyes, slims faces, or otherwise enhances facial features in photos and video.
The feature is especially popular in selfie apps and video chat: I forgot to turn off beauty mode and barely recognized myself.
Sometimes called beauty filter.
