extranet

Controlled outside access

An extranet is a private network that uses internet technology to share information securely with specific outside parties such as business partners, suppliers, or customers.

Unlike an intranet, which is accessible only within an organization, an extranet extends limited access beyond company walls while remaining closed to the general public.

The vendor portal on our extranet lets suppliers check inventory levels directly.
