exteriors
Buildings' outer faces
Exteriors are outer surfaces or appearances—the outside of buildings, vehicles, or people.
In film and television, exteriors are scenes shot outdoors: We filmed the exteriors in Vancouver.
The word often contrasts with what lies beneath: His calm exterior hid considerable anxiety.
As an adjective, exterior describes what's on the outside: exterior walls, exterior paint.
