set decoration
Furnishing fictional spaces
Set decoration is the art of furnishing and adorning a film, television, or theater set with objects that establish atmosphere and context—furniture, curtains, books, dishes, anything that isn't part of the permanent structure.
The set decorator works with the production designer to create environments that feel lived-in and authentic to the story's world.
