expressivity
Capacity for expression
Expressivity is the quality of conveying emotion or meaning effectively.
In genetics, it refers to the degree to which a gene manifests its effect—a trait may show high or low expressivity depending on how strongly it appears in individuals who carry the gene.
More broadly, expressivity describes how fully something communicates: The dancer's expressivity captivated the audience.
