ethnic enclave
Immigrant community cluster
An ethnic enclave is a neighborhood or district where residents share a common ethnic or national origin, maintaining distinct cultural identity through language, businesses, and traditions.
Chinatowns and Little Italys are classic examples.
The term is neutral, describing concentration without implying isolation: The city's Korean enclave has the best restaurants.
