East Village
Downtown NYC area
East Village is a neighborhood in lower Manhattan, east of Greenwich Village.
Since the 1960s it has been associated with counterculture, punk rock, and artistic bohemianism—though like much of Manhattan, gentrification has transformed its character.
We caught a show at a dive bar in the East Village.
