enginehouse
Train storage building
An enginehouse is a building where engines are stored and maintained, particularly locomotives.
Railroad enginehouses often feature a circular or semicircular design (roundhouse) allowing trains to be rotated on a turntable for service or storage.
Fire stations were also historically called enginehouses, housing the fire engines and crews.
