electroacupuncture
Powered needle therapy
Electroacupuncture is a form of acupuncture in which small electrical currents pass through needles inserted at acupuncture points.
The technique combines traditional Chinese needle placement with electrical stimulation, used to treat pain, nausea, and various conditions: She tried electroacupuncture for her chronic back pain.
Also called electro-acupuncture.
