dunk tank

Fair splash game

A dunk tank is a carnival attraction where a person sits on a collapsible seat above a tank of water.

When someone throws a ball and hits the target, the seat drops and the person plunges into the water.

Dunk tanks are popular at fairs, fundraisers, and school events, often featuring teachers, bosses, or local figures as willing victims: The principal agreed to sit in the dunk tank if students raised enough money.
