duathlons
Two-sport endurance races
Duathlons is the plural of duathlon, an endurance race combining running and cycling—typically a run, then a bike segment, then another run.
The format offers an alternative to triathlons for athletes who prefer to skip the swim: She's done several duathlons but hasn't tried a triathlon yet.
