Tiny gas cylinder
A CO2 cartridge is a small metal cylinder containing pressurized carbon dioxide, used to rapidly inflate bicycle tires, power pellet guns, or carbonate beverages.
The cartridges are single-use—once punctured, the gas releases in seconds: I keep a CO2 cartridge in my bike kit for flats.
